Our dynamic leadership team works year-round behind the scenes to craft exciting adventures, prioritize wellness and foster a home-away-from-home atmosphere. With each member bringing their unique expertise, our team is committed to ensuring that your child leaves with cherished memories and newfound skills!
Brigitte is the Owner of Toronto Kidz and doubles up as one of the Camp Directors in the summer. She founded the camp in 2017 when she decided to offer high-quality programs for kids to explore their city. She's very passionate about offering a positive camp environment where campers can explore and grow. As a mother of two, she knows how busy life can get and wants to support our camp families in the best possible way! In the summer, she'll be overseeing our High Park North, Baby Point and Roncesvalles camp locations. Connecting with camp families is one of her favorite things and she can't wait to meet all campers and their families in July!
Ivan is the Co-Owner of Toronto Kidz and takes on a Camp Director role for the summer. Ivan is our numbers guy who takes care of many things behind the scenes during the year. Ivan personally LOVES Toronto and all this great city has to offer. He genuinely enjoys sharing this passion with our campers through our programming which takes advantage of so many great places and things to do in the city. As a father himself, he values the importance of creating a fun while safe camp environment. In 2023, he’ll be working closely with our Location Managers at the Ossington and Eglinton locations to create an amazing day camp experience for our camp families.
Rebecca has been working as the Operations Manager at Toronto Kidz since the summer of 2022. She is responsible for all of the logistical tasks that go along with running a summer camp. This includes everything from registrations/waitlists, recruitment, to managing our website and social media. She spends most of her days talking to parents to make sure that all of our campers have what they need for an amazing summer with Toronto Kidz. Over the summer, she acts as the liaison between parents and the Location Managers at all 8 of our locations. She writes newsletters, logistic emails, and makes sure that campers are in the same groups as their friends. She's a strong advocate for good communication, and is the person to go to if you have any questions about our camp!
Julia is the HR Manager for Toronto Kidz. Julia is a Certified Human Resources Professional with the HRPA. She has worked for organizations such as Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and holds student recruitment dear to her heart. She is excited to recruit top talent for Toronto Kidz and work closely with Location Managers to develop staff to their full potential. Julia is extremely passionate about supporting employee careers and aspires to positively impact the workforce of future generations. In the summer, she will oversee our west-end camp locations at Swansea, Islington and Royal York, and she is looking forward to a fun-filled summer!
Sabine has joined our team at Toronto Kidz as a Marketing Coordinator. She ensures you are informed about everything we have going on at our camp through newsletters and social media posts. She also writes our blog posts, which include information for campers, fun things going on in Toronto, and other helpful information. Sabine has been a counsellor for our Junior Camp for the past two summers and is passionate about what we do at our camp. She loves being creative through social media and using her computer skills to make content. She is excited to use her passion and creativity in marketing this year!
