Our Philosophy
At Toronto Kidz, we believe in the diversity of the kids and their individual interests. We believe that Toronto is a great city to raise an open-minded and globally versed child. We thrive to support families in Toronto to raise responsible, independent and curious children who enjoy an environment full of possibilities.

Our programming is built out in a way that brings forward the individuality of each child while promoting team work, friendship and responsibility for your own actions. Our services are designed to let kids discover and learn in an environment that fosters curiosity while being led by experienced and qualified staff. This mix allows our participants to balance the need to being led and making up their own games, finding friends, and solving conflicts during free play.

Why Toronto Kidz Summer Camps?
As a parent in Toronto you have endless choices of summer camps for your little one. You want to ensure that they are safe and your child is well taken care of while partaking in a program that they enjoy and maybe learn a thing or two.

At Toronto Kidz we do a few things differently than other camps and that makes our offering so unique:

Safety First
While we're all about a fun summer, safety always comes first. A few things we do to make camp a safe experience:
1. Each of our camp locations is led by a certified teacher who has experience working with children

2. All our counsellors are adults (18 years or older)

3. We have a very low camper to staff ratio (1:6 for the younger campers and 1:7 for our 9-12 year old campers)

4. All our staff has a valid First Aid & CPR certification and a recent police check

5. We use chartered school buses for our field trips and work closely with each of the places we visit

Camper Care

We take care of your child as if it was one of our own! We ensure they eat their lunch, we fill up their water bottles, teach them how to apply sunscreen... and much more! Here a few things we do:

1. With our low camper to staff ratio, our counsellors actually have the time to really get to know your camper, what they like, dislike and how they have most fun at camp

2. Our staff receives rigorous and comprehensive training on everything that Camper Care entails

3. We have processes in place to ensure water bottles are always full, lunches will be eaten and sunscreen is applied before we head outdoors
4. We report back to you anything we feel is important for you to know about that happened at camp, from small to big things

More value for your money

When it comes to summer camp, you want your child to have fun and make friends. And it's always nice to know that you get real value for the money you pay for camp:

1. We include weekly field trips to Toronto's main attractions (transportation and tickets included in the price)

2. Investing in thourougly trained staff with the right certifications (First Aid and police check) and a licensed teacher as a Location Manager, ensures not only the safety of your child but also high quality camp programming

3. All our activities are pre-planned and thoroughly evaluated months prior to the summer to ensure that our programming is engaging, enriching and ensures joyful days at camp

4. As a camp we are exempt from charging HST. We pass on those savings to parents to keep our camp fees as low as possible.

Parent testimonials

"We have had a wonderful time with Toronto Kidz through their in-person summer camps and their weeknight virtual art workshops. Last summer our daughter V. loved the weekly themed camps and thrived in the environment which offered a safe, clean and socially distanced space for kids. There was a comprehensive schedule of various activities appropriate for her age (5 1/2 years). At camp, V. found a true passion for arts and crafts and was thrilled with the outdoor adventures that they went on. We highly recommend Toronto Kidz, and really appreciate their reasonable costs and the various programming that they offer."
ELISSA S., parent of two girls

"... I wanted to thank you and your staff. My girls had an amazing time. They were very nervous about starting the week and knowing no one. By the end of the first day, they were asking if they could come back next summer and going on and on about camp. By the end of the week they were asking if we could move to Toronto part-time. Thank you again for offering a wonderful camp and embracing my kids."
